Surfing and having fun
Even before we started the row, Steve promised me to teach me surfing. Promise is a promise, so yesterday afternoon we went for some fun on the waves. It was my first time on a surf board (or any other board), so it took me a while to stand up and catch a wave. I am very surprised that surfing is so popular. Swimming for 10 minutes just to be back on the start after less then a minute of riding the wave?! That doesn't make sense for my Mediterranean brain. :)
