Getting ready in Puerto de Mogan
Day 4 of the preparation for the for the transatlantic row. Boat nearly ready. All the food has been packed. Ably assisted by friends of Gran Canaria Diving and Dr. Fish Spa and diving visitors. We decided to have 52 days worth of food, meals, snacks and special surprises for the trip.
Preparation of the boat has been a little bit slow, but fortunatelly Steve has been bringing us back up to speed with sikaflexing all the equipment, deck, rails, cabin, hatches hands, feet and lips,
We are now relaxing having dinner, planing where to go for a bear after a fantastic meal Vesna cooked for us.
The current plan is still to leave on tuesday, try to arrange a capsize test and make the final preparations.
We also raised some more money for charities from local tourists which were very interested in our project and specially the boat.
